About Cat Appetite Notes
Cat Appetite Notes is a PawLine resource about feline appetite loss. The sources used for these guides are listed below. The guides support a conversation with your veterinarian; they do not replace care.
How pages are written
Each page starts from primary veterinary sources, not other pet blogs. Facts that sound clinical - thresholds, mechanisms, risk groups - are attributed to the institution that published them, and when sources give different figures we say so rather than picking the dramatic one. These pages inform; they never diagnose your cat. A real cat that stops eating needs a real vet, and this site is built to make that visit shorter and more effective, not to replace it.
Sources
The pages draw on these publications:
- Cornell: Anorexia
